Prior to CollectorsRdam, a silent auction for Alzheimer Nederland will take place.

Due to the aging population, the number of people with dementia has increased sixfold from 50,000 in 1950 to 290,000 people now. By 2050, this number will rise to 620,000 people. (source: Alzheimer Nederland)

As the initiator of CollectorsRdam, I myself have experienced Alzheimer's within our family. On October 13, 2025, my father would have turned 100 years old. He passed away 12 years ago. We still celebrate his birthday annually. Unfortunately, my mother is now also starting to lose her memory more and more, and we have already experienced several incidents with her. Help us contribute to the fight against this disease.
