Gastone Rinaldi
Gastone Rinaldi (1920–2006) was one of the most productive and inventive Italian furniture designers of the post-war period. Working through his company RIMA (Riunione Italiana Mobili Artistici) in Padua, he developed tubular steel and rattan furniture that brought Bauhaus structural logic into the Italian post-war home at accessible prices.
Rinaldi's work has attracted growing collector attention as the broader Italian mid-century market has expanded beyond the headline names. His pieces offer the material quality of the period — bent steel, cane weave, lacquered surfaces — at a price point that makes collecting accessible. Collectors Network features authenticated Gastone Rinaldi pieces from specialist vintage dealers.
