Nic Jonk (1928-1994) Three seated Nudes

An expressive early work on paper by Dutch sculptor and artist Nic Jonk, depicting three seated female nudes. Created on 20 January 1965, the composition shows Jonk's characteristic fascination with the human figure. Using fluid lines and touches of watercolour, the three bodies are reduced to rhythmic, rounded forms — a visual language closely connected to the voluptuous figures that would become central to his sculptural work.
