Mazzega

Mazzega was founded on the island of Murano in the 1940s and became one of the most adventurous Venetian glass studios of the post-war period. Working with designers including Carlo Nason, Toni Zuccheri, and Marco Zanini, the atelier produced pendant lights, vases, and sculptures that demonstrated what Murano glass could achieve when freed from tradition.

Mazzega chandeliers in amber, orange, and smoked glass are among the most recognisable objects in the Italian mid-century market. Authentic pieces bear the Mazzega mark or accompanying documentation. Collectors Network features authenticated Mazzega pieces from specialist vintage dealers.
