About this piece

This refined Italian bench from the 1960s captures the essence of mid-century modern design at its best. With its clean architectural lines, restrained proportions and honest use of materials, it reflects the timeless aesthetic associated with Italian masters such as Ico Parisi. The contrast between the warm solid wood seat and the black metal frame gives the piece a light yet graphic presence, making it both understated and distinctive. Designed with clarity and purpose, this bench feels sculptural without being imposing and fits effortlessly into both modern and classic interiors. It is a rare example of Italian craftsmanship where functionality and elegance meet in perfect balance.
