About this piece
A striking and highly architectural chandelier designed by legendary Italian lighting pioneer Gino Sarfatti for Flos
This sculptural fixture exemplifies Sarfatti’s innovative approach to light and form, combining a polished brass central structure with an intricate constellation of black lacquered lamp holders connected by elegant flowing arms. The dynamic composition creates a captivating balance between geometry and movement, making the piece as compelling unlit as it is illuminated.
The chandelier’s multi-tiered arrangement radiates from a central brass column, showcasing the refined engineering and modernist aesthetic that made Sarfatti one of the most influential lighting designers of the twentieth century. Its dramatic silhouette and generous scale make it an exceptional statement piece for contemporary, mid-century, or eclectic interiors.
