About this piece
This striking bookcase by Michel Dumas is a powerful expression of 1970s French space-age design.
Crafted from high-quality Plexiglas, the piece showcases Dumas’s mastery of transparency, structure, and modern form.
The clear architectural lines create a floating, sculptural effect that transforms books and objects into part of the display itself.
Designed during an era when acrylic furniture symbolized progress and innovation, this bookcase feels both futuristic and timeless.
As original Michel Dumas pieces become increasingly rare, this bookcase stands as a collectible design statement with strong visual presence and historical value.
