Beautiful, and rare lounge chair, model Ra. Designed by Pierre Thielen, Studio Industrial Design for Metz & Co. the Netherlands, 1960s. Metz & Co was a distinguished furniture store in Amsterdam with storefront and interior designed by Gerrit Rietveld.

The chair is made of matt chromed steel and war very complicated to produce and therefore very expensive.

The chair is in a good vintage condtion. Leather is very thick & strong with some spots/water stains. See all images for a good impression.
