About this piece
This vibrant orange French wall system, crafted from plywood, exemplifies flexible modular design from the 1960s. The freestanding, adaptable shelving unit features plywood construction that pays homage to the renowned French designer Jean Royère.
The system consists of connecting screw elements, with metal screws that secure the stackable modules together. This rare, functional, and modern shelving system offers endless combinations that can be tailored to fit the needs of your living or working space. It can be easily flat-packed, disassembled to its smallest component, and then reinstalled to accommodate various spatial requirements. This ingenious simplicity of design makes the modular shelving system a quintessential aesthetic of the 20th century.
You can create different configurations with this unit.
