The Gustav Bergmann Armchair from Lippe Germany 1960

This exceptional and rare armchair was designed by Gustav Bergmann and produced by his company in Lippe, Germany, in the early 1960s. The organic, rounded lines give the chair a striking yet inviting appearance. The angled seat and armrests enhance its architectural and dynamic quality, while the tapered, outward-oriented legs are crafted from solid beech wood, finished in a rich dark brown stain.

The chair has been fully reconditioned, and the entire interior upholstery has been renewed using a soft, blue-mottled buocle-like fabric. The “Vegas” fabric features a Martindale rating of 50,000 or 100,000 rubs, ensuring both durability and comfort.
