Paul Kingma

Paul Kingma (1946–2022) was a Dutch sculptor and artist who worked primarily in stone, creating abstract and geological objects that sit at the boundary between art and design. His tables and sculptural pieces — built from slabs of agate, quartz, malachite, and other semiprecious stones set in epoxy resin on steel or stone bases — have become some of the most recognisable Dutch collectibles of the post-war period.

Kingma's work is signed and documented, and has appeared at major design fairs and auction houses internationally. The combination of natural material, handcraft, and abstraction makes each piece unique.
