Katendrecht is worth more than the event alone; everything below is within walking distance of The Gallery.

Deliplein — the square at the heart of Katendrecht, with terraces, small shops and Theater Walhalla. Five minutes on foot.

Fenix — the museum of migration, open since May 2025 in the former San Francisco warehouse of 1923 on the Rijnhaven.

Netherlands Photo Museum — the national photography museum moved to Pakhuis Santos in Katendrecht, a short walk from Fenix. Do check current opening hours before you come.

Food and drink — a run of independent restaurants and cafes around Deliplein and along the quay. On a busy weekend, booking ahead is wise.

ss Rotterdam — the former Holland America Line flagship, on the other side of Katendrecht, reachable by bus 77 or a brisk walk.
